From James H. Brewer, 11 Chadsworth Place, Tullhoma, TN 37388 (passed on to me by Jane Bryant):

  Enoch Brewer Estate
This following entries were copied from the Execution Docket, Wayne Co. (TN) Court. (This
book was in the basement of the Wayne Co. courthouse about 1982. As far as I know, it has
  never been microfilmed or copied.)

The folling is the division of the land in the estate of Enoch Brewer, dec'd. He died ca. 1855.

Rec'd of William Jones C & M, Four hundred and twenty-three dollars and 75 cents being the
respective interests if Sarah Angeline Reynolds & Wesley B. Reynolds, James R. Haddock and
wife, Mary Emaline, John W. Brewer, George M. brewer and Henry J. (This is probably supposed
to be Henry P.) Brewer in the presence of this sale, Aug 27th 1857.

  Henry P. Brewer
  Guardian to George M. Brewer
  Henry P. Brewer (Seal)

Wesley B, Reynolds guardian for Sarah A. Reynolds & John W. brewer

James R. Haddock guardian for Mary Emeline Haddock

Rec'd of Wm. Jones Clerk & Master Eighty four dollars & 75 cents each our interest in the last
payment in the land sold in this cause August 27th 1857.

         W. R. Brewer

            his
    Sanders X Brewer
           mark

The above establishes Enoch Brewer's children as of 1857. They were:
  (1) Sanders Brewer, b May 2, 1832
  (2) Henry P. Brewer, b. ca 1834
  (3) William Riley Brewer, b. ca 1836
  (4) Sarah Angeline Brewer, b. Aug. 22, 1837
  (5) John W. Brewer, b. ca 1840
  (6) Mary Emeline Brewer, b. ca 1842
  (7) George Marion Brewer, b. June 1844

Other evidence indicates that 1-4 were by Enoch's first wife and 5-7 by his second wife.
