Opal Davis Blasingim

Funeral service for Opal Davis Blasingim, 87 of Waynesboro were conducted Sunday, April 21 of at the
Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel in Waynesboro with Bobby Pinckley officiation Burial following in
Walnut Gove Cemetery.

Mrs. Blasingim died Friday, April 19 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro.

She was a native of Waynesboro, the daughter of the late Tom C. and Ada Jane Gobble Brewer and the
wife of the Late Vernon Davis and Marvin Blasingim. Mrs. Blasingim was a homemaker and a member of
the Waynesboro Church of Christ.

Survivors include four sons. Roy Davis of Clifton, Bronson, Tafford and James Davis all of
Waynesboro; four daughters, Reba Davis of Waynesboro, Bernice Gerlach of Holly Grove, AR, Verna Sue
Herndon of Columbia and Rebecca Sharpe of Waynesboro; two brothers, John and Carmel Brewer both of
Waynesboro; one sister, Goldie Nutt of Waynesboro, twenty six grandchildren; forty three
great-grandchildren and Five great-great-grandchildren.
