She died on 16 Sep 1998 in South Union (Uniontown), Fayette, PA Anna Rebecca (Dunham)(Quinn) Draper died at the age of 95 years of old age. She had been living Fayette Health Care Center in South Union (Uniontown), Pa. following a hospital stay resulting from a broken hip. Her remains were cremated and buried in the Miller Cemetery in Smithfield, Fayette, PA. where her parents and some of her brothers and sisters are buried. Her first husband, Guy Edward Quinn is buried in Morgantown, W.Va. After her 1st husband died in coal mining accident in Morgantown, Monogalia, WV, she married Harry Draper on 20 Apr 1946; her second husband, Harry Draper is buried in Montgomery, Ala. She outlived her daughter, Mabel, a son, Francis Franklin, an infant son, Guy Edward Quinn Jr., both of her husbands and a grandson, Francis Franklin Jr. At the time of her death only two sisters, Edith (Dunham) Ball and Pearl (Dunham) McLaughlin and one brother Frank V. "Dick" Dunham remain of her parents' thirteen children. Her death certificate states that she died of Coronary Artery Disease and that additional illnesess at the time of death were: Dementia Anxiety Neurosis, Diabetes Mellitus, and Degenerative Arthritus. Although the death certificate indicates "dementia", she remained very alert and fully cognitive up until after breaking her hip. She had lived with her sister, Pearl until this time. Pearl was not able to care for her after the accident and found it necessary to place her in the nursing home where she resided at the time of her death. Quinn and Florence Francis Hardin on 20 Dec 1922 in Clarksburg, Harrison, WV. Guy was born on 29 Jun 1901 in Brownsville, PA. He died on 8 Jan 1943 in Morgantown, Monogalia, WV. He was buried on 11 Jan 1943 in Morgantown, Monogalia, WV. Family records indicate Guy was born in Brownsville, Union, PA, as were his brothers; however, according to John V. Schroyer of the Registrar of Wills office in Uniontown, PA birth records for Guy have not been located (dated 1974). Guy Edward Quinn was a coal mining foreman for the Pursglove Coal Mining company in Pursglove, Monoghalia, WV. He died as a result of a mine fire in the Pursglove mine fire of January 8, 1943 as he attempted to save the lives of several of his crew-members. He is buried in the Lawnwood Cemetery of Morgantown, Monogalia, WV. His wife Anna Rebecca Dunham Quinn was presented the Carnage Medal for his heroism by Eleanor Roosevelt, the wife of then US President Franklin D. Roosevelt. The medal and newspaper clippings are in the possession of Richard L. Dotson, Sr, (grandson). Guy Edward Quinn was the twin to Roy Quinn who died as an infant in PA. However her birth certificate has her name as Mabel Catheleen Quinn, pronounced by her mother Anna Rebecca Dunham Quinn as Cath-e-leen.
