Isabella Susan Davis apparently married sometime after 1884 (because a letter written to her in 1884
addressed her as Sue Davis).  Her married surname was apparently Stewart, because Hannah Davis' bible
names her Susan Stewart.  Hannah's bible puts her death date in 1892, so no census record exists to
show her with her family.

In the 1900 Census, I found a William Stewart living as a boarder with Joseph Pound and family in
Springhill TWP (close to Nicholson TWP where the Davises lived).  He is 43 and a widow.

From Grace Irene Whale Meneely, received in 2007:

The German Baptists were called "Dunkards" because they had alot of music in the church.  Harriet
(Hannah's Daughter) said they were Dunkards.  Harriet said Samuel went to woods to collect wood &
never came back [enlisted in the army].  She also said Emilyhad 3 sons in service but I never could
find the 3rd.  This is a list from Hannah's bible.  Minnie (Hannah's daughter) typed this and there
are mistakes on it.
