From Jim Emme:
Also, from the WVA records one finds a birth
record of Mary E. Greynolds, whose parents are Lemuel
and Ella Greynolds; she is listed as being born 16
July 1882/83 in Harrison, Co, WVA. There is another
Lemuel Greynolds, but he was born in 1813, and is
possibly a brother of William, see below. The age of
Mary would be plausible for her to have given birth to
Adrian Emme.

From the aforementioned initial site the birth record
for Lemuel Greynolds (*) is listed as being 1 Apr 1853
in Glade Run, Harrison, WVA; hence parents were
William and Jane Greynolds. His death is also listed
as being 26 Dec 1925 in Ellis, Gilmer, WVA, with his
age being 72y 8m 26d.

From the lds.org site mentioned above, the death date
for Jane Greynolds is Nov 1872 in Union, Harrison,
WVA, with an accompanying note that she was 52y and b.
in East Virginia. There is no record of William
Greynolds’ death; he is not listed anywhere on 1870
and 1880 censuses, and may therefore have died on or
before 6 Sep 1870, See 1870 WVA Harrison Union census.
Given the above data from the 1860 census, William
Greynolds (aka., Grennolds, Grinnels) was born in
Virginia on or about <1808> and Jane was born in
Virginia on or about <1810>, although on the basis of
the death record she was born in <1820>.

There is a marriage record on lds.org WVA tha lists
Emily A. Greynolds as being 21 y 10 m 13 d old, the
dau of Jane and William Greynolds; her husband was
Richard M. Paugh, age 21 y 10 m 8 d, the son of
Johanna and Joseph Paugh. Emily’s marriage was 8 Dec
1861 in Harrison Co, WVA. From the same source, a
death record of Emily Paugh lists the death date of 20
Feb 1912, in Harrison Co, WVA. Her age was 74 y 28 d,
and is listed as being born in Benson, and was a widow
at her death.

Little is found on William and Jane Greynolds’ son
John. He apparently married a Mary F. Hefner, who was
born in WVA, as was he. They had a son by the name of
William Lee Greynolds. This son’s death record
indicates that he, William Lee, died on 28 Oct 1926 in
Good Hope, Harrison Co, WVA; age 57 y 2 m 4 d; buried
in Good Hope on 30 Oct 1926. His birth is noted as
occurring in Mineral, WVA. He was married and a
farmer. This is taken from lds.org WVA. See Family
Search of lds.org.
