Obituary for Robert Harrison from "The Daily News", McKeesport, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, page
8, dated Monday, 1 November 1982.  It reads as follows:  Robert Boyd Harrison, 75, of West Mifflin
died Saturday in McKeesport Hospital.  He retired in 1969 as a pipefitter in the maintenance
department of the Irvin plant, U.S. Steel Corp., with 35 years of service, and was a member of the
Homestead Christian Church and West Mifflin Volunteer Fire Co. 3.  During World War II, he served
with the U.S. Army.  Born 1 December 1906, in Donora, he was a son of the late Peter and Alverda
Bumbaugh Harrison and the husband of the late Elizabeth Blaine Harrison.  Surviving are sisters,
Isabel Mansfield and Virginia Griffiths of West Mifflin; brother, George of Lynwood, California;
nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received in the I.M. Finney Funeral Home, Dravosburg, from 2 to
4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. tomorrow when service will be conducted by the Rev.
Bruce Mounts.  Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Park.
