Will of John Morris, Will Book 4, Page 355.  Probated 1871

In the name of God, amen, I John Morris of Bullskin Township Fayette County, Pa, Do
make and publish this Last Will and Testament hereby revoking and making Void all
former wills by me at any time heretofore made, and first I direct that ny body be decently
and in a Christian Manner intered, and as to such worldly estate, as it hath pleased God to
intrust me with I dispose of as follows.  First I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife
Mar ann all of my Real Estate and all of my Personable property and all of my Household
and Kitchen furniture for the purpose of Keeping and Raising my children, my Wife to
have the property without being Compelled to give Security for the same and to have the
said property so long as she remains my wido and if she mareys then to have a wido
dowery and I futher direct my Executor with consent of my wife if she can sell the land
and purchase Land more Convenient for her to do so with the money and my Executor to
sell Som of my Personabley property shuch as my wife can Spare for to pay all my Just
debts and funeral expenses and all my personable property to be devided among her heirs
as She Sees proper and the real Estate to be divided at her deth shear and shaer a Like
among all my heirs.  And I do hereby Constitute and appoint Samuel Detwiler My
executor to this my Last will and Testament, In witness whereof I john Morris the
Testator have hereunto set my hand and seal the 11th day of July 1871,

|Reg Seal| Be it remembered that on the 6th day of Oct. A.D. 1871 Before me Jos. Beatty
Register for the Probate of Wills and Granting Letters of Administration in and for the
County of Fayette personally came John Minor and Henry Etling the subscribing
witnessess to the foregoing instrumentof writing purporting to be the last will and
testament of John Morrislate of the said County decd who being duly affirmed according
to law declare and say, that they were personally present and saw the said John Morris
Sign (by making his mark) and heard him declare said Instrument of writing to be his last
will and testament when of sound and disposing mind and memory, that they signed tehir
names as witnesses thereto by his request, in his presence and in the presence of each
other , that they knew of no undue influence used or later will made.  In testimony
whereof I have set my hand and the Seal of the Registers Office at Uniontown the date
above written.  Jas. Beatty Register,
Letters Testamentary granted to Samuel Detwiler who was duly affirmed October 6th
A.D. 1871.
