Hugeunot whose family migrated from Scotland to Ireland.He brought his family to America about 1730
and setteled in Donegal Township Lancaster Co Pa. not far from Harrisburgh Pa.He married about
1702-1705 in Ireland 

He was married to UNK.  Samuel STURGEON and UNK had the following children: 
2 i. Samuel II STURGEON was born in 1706.  Married about 1725 
3 ii. Thomas STURGEON.  
+4 iii. Jeremiah STURGEON (born in 1708). 
5 iv. Peter STURGEON.  
+6 v. Henry STURGEON (born in 1712). 
7 vi. Robert STURGEON.  Went to Cumberland Co Pa with his brother John about 1755 
8 vii. William STURGEON.  
9 viii. John STURGEON was born in 1722.  He died about 1832.  Went to Cumberland Co Pa about 1755

Jeremiah STURGEON (Samuel-1) was born in 1708. 
He was married to Lydia LEE.
