Robert STURGEON (Henry-2, Samuel-1) was born in 1740.  He died prior to 1787.  There was a settlement
of Sturgeons in Licking Co Ohio,which spread out into the adjacent counties,their forebearers had
come from Fayette Co Pa.Their traditions is that their ancestor Robert Sturgeon had come from the
east in an early day and settled near Centreville Westmoreland Co Pa.This town may now be in
Armstrong Co.Pa. In the census of 1790 Fayette Co Pa a Robert S Sturgeon is found in Union Twp of
Fayette Co Pa.Fayette Co had been cut off from Westmoreland Co in 1784. 

He was married to Margaret UNK.  Margaret UNK died in 1810.  Robert STURGEON and Margaret UNK had the
following children: 
20 i. Robert II STURGEON was born in 1760. 
+21 ii. Nancy STURGEON. 
22 iii. William STURGEON was born in 1765.  William is the ancestor of the Ross Co Sturgeons 
+23 iv. Mary STURGEON. 
+24 v. Jane STURGEON.

She was married to William MOSS. 
23.  Mary STURGEON (Robert-3, Henry-2, Samuel-1).  
MICHAEL DAVIS was born in 1765 in VA.  Mary STURGEON and MICHAEL DAVIS had the following children: 
+25 i. MARY DAVIS (born in May 1795). 
24.  Jane STURGEON (Robert-3, Henry-2, Samuel-1).  
She was married to Jonathan WEST.
