MRS. LAURA BELLE BAER
Mrs. Laura Belle Baer, 82 years old, well-known resident of Smithfield, died Sunday at her home.  She
was a lifelong resident of Fayette county.  Mrs. Baer was twice married.  Her first husband was John
C. Miller, who died in 1887.  Her second husband, Denune H. Baer, died in 1935.  The late Mrs.
Charles E. Wilson of Connellsville was a daughter.

The funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Mount Moriah Baptist Church at
Smithfield.  Rev. S. W. Stewart, assisted by Rev. C. D. A. Hoon and Rev. Trimpey will officiate. 
Burial will be in the church cemetery.


Misc:
A picture found by Karen Miller Opp in Eastern Tennessee has a girl of about 12-13 years old,
with the inscription on the back saying: 

"Marie Miller, dau. of John Calvin Miller and Laura Belle Field Miller. It was from E.A. Lino
Photographers, Uniontown, PA."

There is also a note saying that the picture was taken about the same time as her stepfather.  From
others records (not substantiated), John Calvin Miller died about 1888, so Laura likely married
again.
