4. DAVID [JOHANN] (FICHTER) VICTOR-59

ALL THE CHILDREN OF THIS FAMILY ARE VERIFIED
THRU THE WILL OF HIS SON JACOB IN MUSKINGEN CO OHIO AND
BY RECORDS OF FATHER FARMER OF ST JOSEPHS CATHOLIC CHURCH
IN PHIL. PA. ALSO CENSUS RECORDS, WILLS,AND LAND RECORDS
OF THE OTHER CHILDREN.1800 census Fayette Co shows 6 sons and 3 daughters.
David Victor Sr arrived in Fayette Co Pa from New Jersey about 1795 with his family
of nine children and his wife Jane.He continued in the Iron Industry until about 1810.
His Son Jacob had gone west to Muskingen Co Ohio and purchased land in
Licking Township in 1809.David Sr,His wife Jane,son Adam,son Henry and
Davids youngest dau who was about 11 years old followed a short time later.
The men continued in iron related work but also began farming,Later on
David Jr and his family came to Ohio,leaving on the remaining 4 children of
Phillip,Joseph,Mary, and Elizabeth in Fayette Co Pa.Three of whose descendants
remain to this day.Daughter Mary Victor married Benjamin Parker and in about
1830 took her two sons to Ohio also.
According to oral family history Joseph Victor and his wife Mary and his sister
Elizabeth Victor Rhodes went by horseback to visit their parents in Ohio and
brought back their fathers body when he died to Fayette Co where he was
supposed to be buried by the old Victor (Mary Ann) Furnace in Haydentown.This
land is still owned by the George Cooley family a Descendant.
Besides Farming David Sr also worked at the Dillon Ironworks In Mus.Co
Licking Twp as did his Son Jacob.

17. JACOB (JAMES) (FICHTER) VICTOR-832

Between 1795 and 1810 Jacob Victor resided in Fayette Co Pa.He married
between 1800 and 1810.In the 1810 census Fayette Co Pa he is enumerated with
his wife in Menhallen Twp Fayette Co Pa. They never had any children.He was a
Forgeman and Ironworker.Sometime after the 1810 census and Aug 28 1810 he and
his wife along with his father David Victor Sr, his brother Adam Victor and his sister
Jane Victor who was about 11 and the baby of the family,went west to Muskingen
County Ohio.Jacob bought land there on the above date.Some time later and before
1826 his brother David Victor Jr also came to Muskingen Co. Ohio with his family.
Sometime after 1830 Jacob took into his home Sarah Noah and her baby Charles
Noah nee Wolfe.Sarah and Charles remained with Jacob and Mary until their deaths.
In the 1840 Census of Mus.Co.Ohio Charles is age under 5,Sarah age 20 to 29 and
another Female(Jane Carden) age 5 to 9.In the 1850 census Mus.Co Ohio we have
living in the household of Jacob Victor age 72 born N.J and his wife Mary age 67
born VA. were Sarah Noah age 40 born PA.,Davis Victor age 22 born PA the nephew
of Jacob,Jane Carden age 16 born OH. and Charles Noah age 13 born OH.In 1837
Charles Noah was baptized at St Thomas Catholic Church in Zanesville Ohio with
Jacob Victor as sponsor.In Jacobs will dated July 30 1858 in Mus CO Ohio he leaves
his estate to his wife Mary and after her death to Charles Wolfe nee Noah and his
heirs.In his will he also leaves one dollar to each of his brothers and sisters and each
is mentioned by name except Adam who died in 1939.Jacob and Mary are buried
on their farm in Muskingen Co.OH.


9. LORENZ (LAWRENCE) (FICHTER) Victor-855

THIS FAMILY MOVED TO FAYETTE CO PA IN LATE 1700'S WITH HIS HALF BROTHER
DAVID LAWERENCE'S SON PHILIP ENDED UP IN MUSKINGEN CO OHIO WHERE HE
RAISED HIS FAMILY. LAWERENCE DIED IN FAY CO PA AROUND 1800 AND HIS WIDOW REMARRIED THERE. THEY ALSO USED THE SURNAME OF VICTOR
AFTER MOVING TO PA . ALL OF HIS CHILDREN A VERIFIED BY THE ESTATE
SETTLEMENT 1822 IN FAYETTE CO PA.HE DIED 1799 BUT HIS ESTATE WAS
NOT SETTLED UNTIL AFTER HIS WIFE HAD REMARRIED.AT THE TIME OF THE
ESTATE SETTLEMENT HIS SON LAWRENCE VICTOR JR WAS DECEASED AND
IT IS SAID HE DIED IN 1812 PROBABLY IN THE WAR.

10. LUDWIG (JOHN) (FICHTER) Victor-856

MOVED TO FAYETTE CO PA 1N LATE 1700'S ALONG WITH BROTHER'S DAVID,
LAWERENCE,AND JAMES. HIS FAMILY ALSO USED THE SURNAME OF VICTOR
Sometime after 1810 he moved his family To Green Co Kentucky
