I am related to Robert and Cynthia Brewer who are my great great grandparents. They lived in Biscoe or Candor, N.C. and are buried at Macedonia Presbyterian Church in Candor. Robert was a Civil War veteran. they had a daughter named Vina Ellen Brewer Britt, my great grandmother. If anyone has any further information, I'd like you to email me.
Thanks! Paula

Using family knowledge and US census records I have tracked my ancestry back to David Brewer (1812-1880) and Margaret Ferguson (1814- sometime after 1880) who moved with his family from the Carolinas to Mississippi in the 1850s. Both David and Margaret were born in South Carolina, but seemed to move back and forth across the state line into North Carolina. David and Margaret had several children that made the move with them. I descend through Richard. My great-grandfather, Allen Watson, was born in MS along with my grandfather, Frennie Lee, and father, Billy R. Brewer. I was born in Louisiana.
If anyone knows David's parents, I would love to hear from you.
Best Regards,
Dennis

My grandfather was Thomas Grady Brewer SR. He died in Big springs Texas in the late 40's of Leukemia. He was buried in the cemetary there in Howard county. I don't know for sure his Father's name.(my great grandfather) My dad you to say he grew up in TN. It is possible that Nathan (Nat) Brewer was my greatgrandfather. I am only guessing by dates and the census with Thomas G brewer being 6 years old in 1910. Does anyone have any information that might help me?
