Funeral services for Reba Lynn Davis, 74 of Waynesboro, TN were conducted Monday, Sept 28, 2009 at 1
P.M. at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Waynesboro with Tracy Love and David Caron
officiation. Burial was in the Wroley Cemetery, Waynesboro.
Mrs. Davis departed this life on Saturday, Sept 26 in Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro.
Mrs. Davis was born January 22, 1935 in Waynesboro, the daughter of the Late Vernon C. Davis and Opal
Gladys Brewer Davis. She was untied in marriage to James Malcolm Davis on March 18, 1961. Mrs Davis
was a retired factory worker at Lincoln Brass and was a member of the Church of Christ. In additon to
her parents, Mrs Davis was preceded in death by a brother Donnie Davis; and two grandchildren,
Derrick Mathis and Vanessa Skelton.
She is survived by her her husband, James Malcolm Davis, of Waynesboro; sons, Roger Dixon and wife,
Debra, Ricky Dixon and wife, Rhonda, Mark Dixon and wife,Lisa, all of Soddy Dasiy, TN, James Davis II
and wife, Anita of Clifton, TN; daugthers, Karen Keeton and husband, Roy of Florence, AL; Kimberly
Smith of Waynesboro and Tina Smith of Clifton; grandchildren Phillip, Lisa, Matthew, Michael, Jeremy,
Reanna, Amber, Jessica, Jillian, Ezekial, Branston, Jeremiah, and Ashton; great grandchildren, Chris,
Jacob, Abby, Lilly, Lauren, Tallon, Madison, Jada, Jaylee, Jagger, Brianna, Deanna, and Chase;
brothers, Roy Davis, Bronson Davis, Tafford Davis and James Davis, all of Waynesbors; sister, Bernice
Gerlach of Holly Grove, AR; Verna Sue Kelly of Columbia, TN; and Becky Sharp of Nashville, TN; and
several nieces and nephers.
Pallbearers were Matthew Dixon, Phillip Dixon, Jeremy Dixon, Ezekial Davis, Michael Scott Davis and
Steve Bilman.
