Gresham, Edna, age 83 of Manchester, MI passed away August
8, 2008 at home under the loving care of her family and Arbor
Hospice. Edna was born on September 15, 1924 in
Waynesboro, Tennessee the daughter of Richard and Elsie
(Smith) Brewer. She married William Gresham Jr. on January
4, 1943 in Florence, AL and he survives. Edna was a member
of Grace Baptist Church in Somerset Center. Besides her loving
husband of 65 years, Edna is survived by her children: Billy
(Barbara) Gresham of Tipton, Jimmie (Sheila) Gresham of
Seattle, WA and Rebecca (John) Harrision of Manchester; 12
grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; siblings: Willowdean
(Grady) Lipscomb of Lawrenceburg, TN; Herbert (Lillie) Brewer
of Waynesboro, TN; Jewel Brewer of Waynesboro, TN. She
was preceded in death by her son: Jerry Gresham in March of
2001; brothers: Rex, Harry, Arlen, Shorty and Donald Brewer;
sister: Ophelia Sullivan. Memorial contributions may20be given to
Grace Baptist Church. Envelopes will be available at the Borek
Jennings Funeral Home, Jenter Chapel, Manchester, MI where
family will receive friends on Monday, August 11, 2008 from 4-9
P.M. A Healing Farewell service for Edna will take place on
Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at the funeral home with visitation at
9:00 A.M. until the time of service at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor
Edward Knauss officiating. Interment Oak Grove Cemetery.
