Note:  Lafayette Brashears was the son of M. M. Brashears and Sarah
Vaughan.  M. M. and Sarah Vaughan Brashears were married in Miller 
County, Missouri, 18 Nov 1836.  Lafayette Brashears was born in 
Marion County, Arkansas. He married Mary Carolina Bowden 8 Oct 1860 
in Pope County, Arkansas.
