From the Wayne County News, Friday December 23, 1983. Sallie F. Brewer Nutt. Funeral services for
Sallie Francis Brewer "Granny"Nutt, 97, were conducted December 21 at McDonald Funeral Home in
Hohenwald with King McCarver and Billy Nutt officiating, Burial was in the Swiss Cemetery in
Hohenwald. Mrs. Nutt died December 20 Wayen County General Hospital. She was a resident of The Wayne
County Nursing Home and a memeber of the Church of Christ. Survivors include two daughters, Roxie
Gobbell and Bonese Ray; a sister, Lucille Frazier; 20 grandchildren, and a host of
great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and one great-great-great-grandchild.
