Tom Cebe Brewer
Funeral services for Tom Cebe Brewer, 74, of Waynesboro were conducted Satruday, September 9th at 2
o'clock at Highland Church with Barney Webb officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery with
Middle Tennessee Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Brewer died Sept. 6 at Wayne County Hospital.
He was a native of Wayne County, a son of Cebe and Alice Robnett Brewer. He was a retired farmer and
a member of the Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Oma Brewer; three sons, Tom BrewerJr, John C. Brewer and Carmel
Brewer all of Waynesboro; eight step-sons, Condred, Elliot, Carl and E.J.Brewer , all of Waynesboro,
Hassell and Cranston Brewer of Brighton, Mich, and Billy and Bobbie Brewer of Detroit, Mich; three
daughters, Mrs Opal Davis and Mrs. Goldie Nutt of Waynesboro and Mrs Clovia Staggs of Hohenwald;
three step-daughters Mrs. Aloria Seegar and Mrs. Norma Jean Climmons of Detroit, Mich; and Mrs.
Christine Lindsey of Waynesboro; a half brother, Iley Churchwell of Columbia, a sister, Artie Posey
of Columbia and a half sister, Mrs Sherman Pruitt, also of Columbia; 36 grandchildren; 29
great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; 37 step grandchildren; 11 step great
grandchildren.

living on Allens Creek, born 2nd March 1893, Natural Born, Farmer, working for self, wife with 3
children, Tall, Grey Eyes and Black Hair.

Services Held for Mrs. Ada Brewer At Highland Church
Funeral services for Mrs. Ada Jane Brewer, 72, of Waynesboro were held Tuesday. March 5 at 2:00
o'clock from Highland Methodist church with J.B.Harper officiating.
Interment was in Highland Cemetery with Midlle Tennesse Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Brewer died at Woods Memorial Hospital Monday after a short illness. A native of Wayne County,
she was a daughter of John C. and Mary Gobbell, she was a member of Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors are her husband, Tom Brewer, Sr; three daughters, Mrs Opal Davis and Mrs. Golide Nutt,
Waynesboro and Mrs. Clovis Staggs of Hohenwald; four sons, Tom, Jr. John C. Lewis and Camel Brewer
all of Waynesboro, two sisters, Mrs Maggie Blasingim of Ridgley and Mrs. Delcie Davis of Van Dyke,
Mich; four brothers; Jim, Luther, Walter and Bill Bobbell all of route 6 Lawrenceburg; 36
grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren.
