Hassel Vogel Brewer

Funeral service for Hassel V. Brewer, 58, of 2575 Kathleen, Brighten, Michigan, were conducted,
December 27 at 2:00 p.m. from the Keehn Funeral Home with Rev. Martin R. Valade officiating.
Burial was in Fairview Cemetary in Brighten, Michigan.

Mr. Brewer died, December 23 at the Livingston Care Center in Howell, Michigan after a short
illness.

He was the son of the late Dock and Oma Mae (Smith) Brewer, owned and operated Brewers Union 76
Service Station in Brighton, Michigan.

Survivors include his wife, Julia Ann Preston Brewer; six daughters, Carolyn Jackson of Florida, Rita
Moreland of Clarksville, Mrs. Debra Sevicewood and Sandra Lowery of Jefferson City, TN, Mrs. Barbara
Cox and Patricia of Brewer of Brighten; two sons, James Earl Brewer and Mark Hassel Brewer both of
Brighten; three sisters, Mrs. Christine Lindsey of Lawrenceburg, Mrs Alora Seeger of Howell, Mich.
and Mrs. Norma Scaration of Detroit; five brothers, Carl Max (Goody), E.J., Cranton and Bill of
Waynesboro and Bobby Brewer of Fowlerville, Michigan and several nieces and nephews.
