In 1850 Census Phillip is living next door to his uncle Jacob Victor
who is 72 years old,in Muskingen Co Ohio Licking Twp.According to family
history Phillip's wife and children were looked after by Jacob Victor while
Phillip was gone on his work trips on his Canalboat.Philip sold his Canalboat
in the 1850's when the Dam was built at Nashport Mus Co Ohio and traveled
via the old National Rd route, now Route 40 to Howards Point,now St Elmo
Ill Avena Twp where he bought a farm and raised his family
