    Dave, I think I found the family of Isaac Bumbaugh. He was married to Mary Ellen Perkins (born about 1817 in Pennsylvania). Four sons: G. Dallas Bumbaugh, born May 1845 Isaac Bumbaugh, born August 1847 John Bumbaugh Henry Clay Bumbaugh Here are my sources: Notes for Isaac Bumbugh 1850 Census for Quincy Township, Franklin County, Pennsylvania. It records Michael Bumbaugh (aged 66, miner, PA), Magdalene (aged 64, Virginia), David (aged 40, moulder, Virginia), Isaac (aged 35, moulder, Maryland), Emily (aged 23, PA), James (aged 31, forgeman, Maryland), Joseph (aged 34, forgeman, PA), Mary J. (aged 18, PA), William (aged 29, moulder, PA). !1850 census for 5th Ward, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, lnes 42, 1-6. It records Jame Bombaugh [possibly Bambaugh] (aged 35; moulder; born in Virginia); Dallas Bombaugh (aged 5; born in PA); Mary Bombaugh (aged 37; born in PA); Isaac (aged 3; born in PA); John (aged 4/12); Julia Perking [sic] (aged 5; Ohio); and Magt. Hughes (aged 25; Ireland). [Note: Is this Jame actually Isaac? I believe that this is actually Isaac's family, and not his brother James'.] Notes for Mary Ellen Perkins Bumbaugh 1860 census for Pittsburgh 5th Ward, Allegheny County, Pennsylania, lines 3-7, dated 16th [?] June. Perkins (f; aged 19, PA). !1880 census for Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, lines 29-31, dated 1 June. It lists Isaac Bumbaugh (aged 33, single, nailer, born in PA; father born in PA; mother born in Conn.); brother Dallas (aged 35, single, laborer, born in PA; father born in PA; mother born in Conn.); and mother Mary E. (aged 63; widowed; house keeper; born in Conn; father born in PA; mother born in Conn.) Death Certificate for Mary Ellen Bumbaugh from Registration of Deaths, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, page 595. It provides the following. However, the informaton on his death certificate do not match Isaac, the son of Michael and Mary Magdalene Bumbaugh. Allegheny Cemetery also has a listing of interments. Apparently G Dallas and Isaac never married, but Henry Clay did and had a large family (moved to Chicago). I also believe that I've found a child for John, but it's circumstantial.
