Nancy J. (Jennie) Jordan is originally Nancy J. Davis, daughter of John Davis, who Robert WIshart
says was brother to Sarah Ann Davis Wishart, sister of William Davis. You can see her in the 1860
census record in Mercer County, PA as 11 years old.

According to Robert Wishart, Samuel Wishart and Sarah raised Nancy because her father John Davis was
in the civil war and a prisoner in Anderson Prison.

I figured that there was a Wishart connection because Samuel and Sarah Wishart moved between Mercer
County, PA and Trumbull County, OH a number of times.

We find William Jordan living with his parents WIlliam and Sarah in Findley, Mercer County, PA in
1860. Same area as the Wisharts.

I was able to find the 1880 census record you mention. William and Nancy J. had two children at the
time: William born 1869 and Susan L. born 1872.

Uncle William is likely to be our ancestor William Davis. It could also possibly be Susan's brother
William Davis.

Aunt Sarah is Sarah Davis Wishart, sister to William Davis. Avieous is a alternate spelling of
Samuel Wishart and Sarah Davis Wishart's daughter Avies. In census records it has been spelled
Avius, Avias, and Avies.
