1969 Wayne County News:
From the Wayne County News, W. Clarence Brewer, Funeral services for William Clarence Brewer, 66, of
Rt. 4 Waynesboro were conducted Aug. 24 at 2 o'clock from the Middle Tennessee Funeral Home Chapel.
Rev. Barney Webb officiated. He was assisted by Rev. Charlie Duncan. Burial was in Walnut Grove
Cemetery. Mr. Brewer died August 22 1969 at Wayne County General Hospital, he was a native of Wayne
County, a son of James Henry Brewer and Mary Columbus Brewer Brewer. Mr. Brewer was a committe-man at
the ASC office in Waynesboro for 25 years. He was a long time schoolboard member, bus driver and
attended the Free Will Baptist Church.  Surviviors include his wife, Mrs. Wille Nutt Brewer, a son,
Raliegh Brewer and three daughters, Mrs. Robert Herring, Billie Webb and Mrs. Carl Inman all of Rt.4
Waynesboro, two brothers, Jasper of Waynesboro and Rich Brewer of Lawrenceburg; three sisters, Mrs.
Lucille Frazier and Sallie Nutt of Hohenwald and Mrs. Molly Bet Daniel of Delano, Calif.; four
grandhcildren and several nieces and nephews.
